Dedo Mili Dedo
Information: A dance.
A folk dance from Gradmanci in the Kumanovo region of Macedonia, the Dedo Mili Dedo was first notated by Ljupka Kolorova. It is common practice in Macedonia for musicians and singers to use many different melodies for the same dance. The Dedo Mili Dedo is one such dance that uses elements which have been adapted to the rhythms and melodies of the Kumanovo region. It is also a multi-occasion dance.
A literal transcription of the Dedo Mili Dedo dance description (undated and unsigned) in my collection. "Literal" means I have NOT tried to correct spelling or anything else in the text I have just retyped it for you, formatting distinct count-groups to separate text lines, as is my custom.
