Go to View ➔ Fonts -OR- to View ➔ Options ➔ Fonts
Select something that says "Universal" or "Unicode" or "Cyberbit" or "Lucida Unicode"
WITH NETSCAPE now part of AOL (America Online)
Go to Edit ➔ Preferences ➔ Appearance ➔ Fonts -OR- to Options ➔ General Preferences ➔ Fonts
Select something that says "Universal" or "Unicode" or "Cyberbit" or "Lucida Unicode"
WITH SAFARI
Click "Safari" ➔ "Advanced" ➔ Default encoding: Western (ISO Latin 1)
TO ADD DIACRITICS TO DOCUMENTS WITH MACINTOSH
Click the symbol -OR- "Edit" in later models.
Click "Emoji & Symbols" ➔ "Latin" ➔ select appropriate letter.
TO ADD DIACRITICS TO WEB PAGES WITH MACINTOSH
Go to Special Characters Chart for a list of the most used special characters in folk dance descriptions ➔ use the number shown for your character of choice (&#XXXX;).
-OR- go to Special Characters ➔ scroll to the character of choice ➔ use the number shown (&#XXXX;).
