The Society of Folk Dance Historians occasionally publishes books and monographs of special interest.
At this time, we have published the following. Email for more information: SFDHist at gmail dot com.
- Folk Dances of Germany for Deutsche Tanzkreise: Dances introduced by Gretel and Paul Dunsing between 1925 and 1946. This is a hardcover, spiral-bound, 131-page book of the histories and descriptions of over 40 German folk dances. Illustrated, with descriptions of the movements and cultures from which the dances come, this book is an invaluable source of information for those interested in the popular social dances of Germany from the 1880s to the 1930s. The book concludes with a brief biography of the Dunsings. We published this demographic study annually from 1993 to 2022.
- Say it in Bulgarian - Kazhi Go na Bulgarski: English-Bulgarian Phrasebook.
