The Folk Dance Council (FDC) of the Delaware Valley is a non-profit organization which exists to promote folk dancing and to further its enjoyment for everyone, to foster cooperation and to serve as an information exchange for the folk dancers of the multi-state region around Philadelphia, PA.
The FDC sponsors weekly folk dancing in Philadelphia in the Art Museum neighorhood in the winter and in the Mt. Airy neighborhood in the summer. It organizes an annual calendar of folk dance special events and sends communications by email to a large list of interested recipients.
