The Society has ceased publication of its annual periodicals as of December 31, 2022.
Copies of back issues remain available while supplies last.
We do hope to continue publishing special works, such as
Folk Dances of the 19th Century Russian Ballroom and other works.
There will be no more issues of the Folk Dance Phone Book & Group Directory.

Dear friends,
During 2025, the Society was quiet, but not at all inactive.
We researched and answered 30 research questions sent in by people from across the US, Australia, England, and Germany.
We accepted and processed seven donations of archival material, sound recordings, and publications.
We referred a few donors to more appropriate recipients.
We received seven gifts and grants totaling $1,670, much of which went toward the purchase of a new scanner.
Our webmaster, Dick Oakes, continued to expand the Society website, which may account for the wide range of questions that people sent.
I know I speak for the board in thanking all of you who continue to send messages of support and appreciation, and special thanks to those who sent archival donations and financial support. It was a good year.
