BACKGROUND

Information: Old Timer Record Company, producers of sound recordings on the Old Timer Records label.

The company was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 1949 to produce square dance and round dance music. The label debuted with catalog number 58001 on 45 rpm and 8001 on 78 rpm in 1950. The Old Timer Records label maintained issuing records at least into the 1970s or 1980s.
