BACKGROUND
Information: Tatyana Alekseevna Ustinova, dance master of the Pyatnitsky Russian State Folk Choir and author of books about Russian dance
Tatyana was a native of the Tver country and an honorary citizen of the city of Tver.
She was People’s Artist of the USSR, laureate of the State Prizes of the USSR and the RSFSR, teacher, and chief choreographer of the Russian State Academic Folk Choir.

Directions (in Russian), illustrations and diagrams, scores, and step descriptions for six stage routines based on folk themes: two Khorovod dances, a braiding dance, a masked party dance, a balalaika dance, and a collective farm wedding dance.
