VARIANTS
- Gankino, or Gankino Horo (Ganka's dance), common to north and northwest Bulgariaa. The music usually uses happy melodies. The dance usually follows the "travel, one to the right, one to the left" pattern of so many other Bulgarian dances such as Eleno Mome, Kasapsko, Narodno, Pravo Horo, Šareni Čorapi, and so on.
- Kopanitsa (digger's dance), common to western Bulgaria and Thrace. The music frequently starts slow and accelerates. The dances follow few patterns.
- Krivata, Krivo, Krivo Horo (crooked dance), common to western Bulgaria and Macedonian. Krivo also applies to dances in 13/16, 15/16, and so on. The dances follow few predictable patterns.
