Information: Texas Camp, founded in 1949, is a part of the Texas International Folk Dancers. It is held each Thanksgiving weekend and is one of the longest-running international folk dance camps in the United States, having been founded in 1949. The setting is Greene Family Camp, a modern facility in the scenic hill-country of Central Texas.
In addition to dance instruction provided by world-class instructors each year, the camp offers singing classes, a family program with special activities for children, folklore presentations, hearty ethnic cuisine, a host of special-interest dance sessions, and incredible evening parties with live music.
Texas Camp is held at the Greene Family Camp, a modern facility in the scenic hill-country of Central Texas, over Thanksgiving weekend in November.
